On Friday we all dressed up as our favourite book characters and in the assembly we all got to do the parade. It was really cool and we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Today we experienced a crime scene and we learnt about forensic insight. We had 2 forensic scientists in our school who informed us about forensic science and how to collect evidence. We have collated that in a Slide. Isn’t that cool?

Today we had our session for Tread Lightly. We had five different stations to visit and take part in the activities provided. We learnt a lot of things about the environment and energy. We also learnt how we can save energy at home. This is all we had done. What do you think is the most interesting activity?

Today we got a chance to wear life jackets and swim across the Lane pool. After that we jumped in the bombing pool. It was a bit scary but we had a really good time. Here’s the glimpse of what we did.

Today was our first day at the pools. Even though it’s winter we were still looking forward to it. We were given kickboards and rings to practice with. What a wonderful experience it was to be out there. Looking forward to our next session.

Today all the senior hub (years 4, 5 and 6) went to visit the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple. We did different activities ands learnt about 3Gs and 4Gs. It was an awesome experience and if you get time, do have a visit ot the temple.

Today we used Google Drawing to create a Poster about our culture. We learnt about different cultures and what makes each culture special. Mrs Khan also created her Poster about the Fijian Culture. This is what she  has done. You can also view Room 7 students posters in their blogs. Enjoy!!

Today Matua Josh came to our class to model us how to do research and note taking before we can write an information report. We discussed about Electric cars and we also watched a few You Tube Videos on Electric Cars. After that we noted the keywords related to electric cars. It was a really cool lesson as from now on we are not just going to copy everything from wikipedia but write the important points down in our own words. Thank you Matua Josh!!

Brickpit Lego Session was quite engaging. We all got a chance to play with the Lego and create something.

Today we were divided as Group 1 and Group 2 swimmers. Our instructors taught us a lot of different techniques in swimming.
